This is a 1989 Chevrolet Kodiak Series 70
Rescue Truck. It has 8.2 L Detroit diesel engine and Allison transmission
(4 speed). Truck has 144,000 miles on it.
It was refurbished in 2005 with new paint,
light bar, hide-away winches on right and left sides, siren, AM/FM radio,
LED lights on sides and rear of truck. It has good 11 R 22.5” tires with
new wheel covers. Truck has 9,000 lb. front axle and 18,000 lb. rear axle.
Roll up bed on truck is in great condition
with huge compartment space. Truck is fully serviced and ready to go.

volunteer fire departments in their acquisitions of used fire trucks, we have
found that we have needed to assist also in the selection of the manufacturer
and the help define the specifications of the apparatus needed. Therefore, we are
listing fire trucks for sale on our web site. We have contacted all
of the manufacturers of reliable fire trucks and we give a priority for
recommendations to those who we have agreements. Although we may help
you in financing the purchase of a fire truck, it is the owner of these
fire trucks who are the sellers. You negotiate directly with them, we'll
try to help and we'll try to get the financing managed.
